About Sattler SUN-TEX

Our SUN-TEX business unit forms part of the Sattler Group, a family-owned firm headquartered in Austria that operates worldwide. The SATTLER Group is the world’s leading manufacturer of special textiles for the outdoor use and is also leading in the planning and implementation of membrane constructions.

Our companies in EUROPE
 At our weaving facilities in Rudersdorf we primarily manufacture sun protection and marine fabrics with spun-dyed acrylic yarn supplied by the top yarn producers in Europe. In Gössendorf near Graz we equip the fabrics with our special impregnation TEXgard, and depending on the quality, we also apply the finish that provides the fabrics with the corresponding properties. In Rudersdorf we also manufacture ready-made awning covers and sun sails.
Company in USA
Our American branch office is headquartered in Hudson, North Carolina. At our production facility we weave and produce fabrics for our casual furniture collection. High performance jacquard looms transfer our own developed patterns into the fabrics. Here, we also apply the finish that confers the fabrics their outstanding resistance against all weather conditions.

From the design department, which sets standards in the industry with its designs, through our research and development department, which is constantly looking for technical innovations to make our cloths even more weatherproof, even more durable, to production, where everything is given so that Sattler is made up of employees who are the basis of our success.
